Islam is only related in claiming Abraham as one of its prophets.

Otherwise Islam is mutually exclusive to Judaism/ Christianity.

Islam salvation is based on works out-weighing sin.

It fits in the sense that it's another religion. It sahres a comon ancestry with Judaism and Christianity by being traced back to Abraham, but just as the belief in Jesus created a separation between Judaism and the new Christian religion, Islam went in it's own way with Muhammad, or even before that, with Ishmael, Abraham's son.

Both Christianity and Islam believe in a prophet that has already come to "change" the word of God. The jews don't believe that the Torah can ever be changed, especialy not by the word of one person. Therefore, we're still waiting for the Messiah to come.

When the day of judgement comes, Jesus will return to fight the anti christ. Just who this anti christ is, is not clear.

The only difference between Islam and Christianity regarding Jesus is in how his time ended. Christianity believes Jesus was crusified. Where Islam, believes that Jesus was assended away into the heavens and shall return on the day of judgement.

Regarding the return of the messiah, The Bible and The Koran bear similarities. Islam does believe in the concept of Virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit.

Actually...it doesn't.
If you go back to the time of Abraham, and read his story, you will learn about the slave girl, Hagar, and her son, Ishmael.
God restrained Sarah from having the son of promise until Ishmael was thirteen years old...in that culture, a grown man.
Amazing how nobody seems to understand...Ishmael had to be born...
Isaac, who is the son of promise, becomes the father of Israel. Israel brings Jesus, and, as promised "all the nations of the earth" are blessed.
Ishmael, the wild man, whose "hand will be against ever man, and every man's hand against him" becomes the father of Arabia. Muhammad is born some 400 years or so AFTER Jesus has gone back to His Father, and we have Islam...which claims that Jesus was a great prophet, but that He and "Allah" staged the whole crucifixion thing, although it is unclear exactly why they still trust a "god" who would pull a stunt like that...or why they claim that Jesus was a prophet, but don't believe anything He says.
Remember how Sarah was restrained from bearing till AFTER Ishmael was born?
Could it be that God planned in advance for Islam to come along just when it did...and for the adherents to this religion to be angry...even violent people? Think of how America's own black youth--abused, hurt, and damn angry about it--have enthusiastically joined this growing movement...
COULD this be "the antichrist" everyone is looking everywhere for? Perhaps...just perhaps...it has been right in front of our face, all this time.....

The Muslims are waiting, too.

We believe that God has sent more than 100,000 prophets to every nation and people, but that, over time, the verbatim revelations were changed or lost.

Finally, when the human race had the infrastructure to maintain a revelation intact, God sent the final revelation, the Holy Qur'an, via His prophet Muhammad, God bless him and grant him peace. The Holy Qur'an was revealed in historic times to a single individual, and was preserved, as it was revealed, both in writing and in the living memories of witnesses. Every word in every Arabic Qur'an is identical to every word in every other Arabic Qur'an, whether handwritten in Egypt in 800AD or laser-printed yesterday in Schenectady, NY.

Muslims revere Jesus, God bless him and grant him peace, as one of God's greatest prophets. We believe that he was born of a virgin, taught the Gospel as it was revealed to him, was able, by the Grace of God, to perform miracles (as were other prophets), and was raised to heaven without having died. We believe that he will return to the earth to defeat the Anti-Christ, will rule the world for a time, and then will die, along will all other believers, before the terrible Last Days begin.
