Okay I've Seen questions similar to this all over Yahho! Answers...ALL THE ANSWERS ARE PUTTING DOWN THE ONE WHO WROTE THE QUESTION? I bet i will get a bunch of hate answers and crap like that but really, Can you believe this bible? It's all a scam. Made up. Why worship someone you never saw or knew. You are obsessed christians. And if you were a true christian you wouldn't be putting down athiests! Now would you? The Society these days is filled with religous people and to me I have no idea how the hell you can believe this crap. You don't believe in magic right? I think the reason people really worship is as an insurance policy. We don't know if it's all true, and it's hard to swallow some of the original writings, but you never know, do you?

But an atheists doesn't have that problem, and can't see what all the fuss is about, and witches - well, we just work with the planet's energies, and let the religious work out their own thoughts. (I nearly wrote 'salvation' there, but thought better of it).

Do you want hate answers? It sounds like you expect them because you asked the question. First I can tell you I believe in magic I USED to practice it!!!!!! I know what hate is I lived it for years after my 14 year old daughter was i a shed explosion and lived 4 months with 88% of her skin gone burnt off. I am a Christian! I am a Nondenominational Minister. If it weren't for the Love of God and His True believers I would not be sane or alive for that matter. That is my belief and I do NOT push it on anyone but I Have learned to forgive and to be forgiven and mostly to forgive myself. I don't know you either the thing about loving someone you don't know is that you love their spirit or their soul. I do not have to know you to do that. I have a daughter that no longer suffers pain and she was healed in an instant and this I KNOW. the rest of all of it just follows. I KNOW Jesus died for me because nothing of this earth could make me feel this wonderful. Peace to you

I don't put down writers, at least not ones who ask honest questions, and I even try to not get upset with the ones who are just trying to make trouble.

The reason to worship Jesus is that he is God. And yes I do believe the Bible. And yes I do believe in magic, that's the devil's art... I know you don't believe you are working with satan but you are when you do magic. And no it's not a scam.

I really feel sad that you are so bitter and upset and wish I could do something to help you feel better. Please know that God loves you and I love you and hope that you have a better day than what it seems you're having right now.

I worship Jesus because He was God incarnate. He died on a cross voluntarily for my sake. How can I believe this to be true? Because I see Him at work in my heart and mind and life on a daily basis.
It saddens me greatly when I see those who profess to know Him going around slamming those who don't believe. Christians ought to accept the Bible as true. As such, we are not to pass judgement on the world (1 Corinthians). We are to judge ourselves, and at times others who proffess to be believers, but never those in the world. That does not mean we should not know, and live as if we know, the difference between right and wrong. It is wrong to hate you, or tell you "Some day you'll find out." Or argue with you. It is only right for a Christian to tell the Truth IN LOVE. It is wrong to proffess Christ as Lord and then go around acting or speaking "holier than thou". "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." There is no Biblical justification for any Christian to have offered you "hate answers". On behalf of "Christians everywhere, I appologize. As for "putting down atheists" I don't think we should do that either. We do have to speak against atheism as we believe it to be a false doctrine, but we're never to speak against the atheist. It is the difference between hating the sin, but loving the sinner.
To all of you who are claiming to be Christians, and are slamming all these non-believers: Shame on you. You should know better. Praise the Lord that Jesus didn't do the same to YOU, or were you born saved and in right relationship with Him? You are embarrassing me, and you're embarrassing the Kingdom of God. To use the Biblical term, You are bringing a reproach upon the Lord. Please stop!

I'm a christian and I'm not a moron. I don't believe everything in the bible. But, I do believe in the ten commandments, 'love your neighbor as yourself', 'those without sin throw the first stone', etc. The bible has some good stories in it, but I can't take it all in as literally what happened. I don't run down athiests. They're wrong, but I don't put them down. Love, :-)))

I did not read all of what you wrote because it will not change my answer to your initial question which is "why worship Jesus". The answer is simply this. As Jesus said, "No man can come to the Father except through me". There is no other way to heaven except through Jesus Christ the one who died on the cross for the sins of the world that we might be forgiven for our sins. There is no other way to be forgiven. So if you attempt to get to heaven by any other means your attempt is futile and you are dooming yourself to future utter destruction and living your eternity in the "Lake of Fire". But hey if that sounds good to you then that is your choice....because God did give us the free will to choose our destiny. He wants us to choose eternal life or eternal death so it truly is your choice. Like to steal or not to steal, to kill or not to kill...it's all a choice. When you choose the good you will get the good reward when you choose the bad you will get the punishment that is due to you...but you still have a choice.

Welll think about thisin the bible it talks about past events that happened in history that we learn about in school like ancient egypt, greek, and rome... why is it okay for society to except that part of the bible but when it comes to that of jesus its a made-up story....? society picks and chooses what to believe from the bible

your primary question was why i worship Jesus. First of all, He changed my life. I was hopeless and suicidal. He gave me hope and the reason to live. There were times, when i was on the verge of death and i called on his name, and He delivered me. I worship him because he deserves my highest praise. I know he is real, because i can feel him. I am not asking you to believe. I am not telling you that you are doomed and i am not one of those "christians" that puts atheists down. you don't know me either and you don't know what He has done for me. What i do know is that He honors faith. and that is something you will not find on yahoo answers.

? OK so are you and atheist? Just trying to understand what you are saying. Honestly I think there is nothing wrong with believing it whatever you want I just say don't try to force your view on anyone else. SO why believe in Jesus idk! I believe more in the science of life and I do think Christians not all but alot take it to far.
