I sure do. I'm not a jerk, not an imbicile, not superstitious, not insane. I know that first of all I have to acknowledge God out of respect and thank him for his gifts and providence, and third I need him because I'm not in control of my life... all kinds of things happen that I cannot control. He looks out for me, plus the truth is that there is eternity and I sure would not want to regret what I've done here.

I believe it depends on your upbringing. If you were brought up believeing in a God then it is likely you will continue to live believeing in God. Therefor, need Him. Others may find the 'righteous path' and turn to believe in a God as they believe He has helped them in dark times. Others to not believe in a God. But who has the better life. Those who believe in a God may think they have a better life, as they have a certain way of life. But those who do not believe in a God may be just as better off.
I believe that if you think you need a God, you do. If you don't then you don't. It is simply peoples way of coping with everyday life.

Well does God need you? I certainly think not. You are obviously implying that He exists, so obviously there is some belief yet you choose to rebel.
Yes, we need God in order to live; on top of that you can find serenity and self-worth with faith in God.
You always have a choice.

People who need guidance and those who cannot guide their own lives. These lost people create something called god to have a sense of security.
