my husband was arrested for agg. assult. he hit someone over the head with a beer bottle at a club.the victim will need 15stiches.what is the usual punishment for this

Depends on many factors.
Is this his first offense? Was he on probation at the time?
Anyway, it is a Felony offense and depending on the above, he could get anywhere for probation for a year with community service hours and mandated alcohol abuse treatment and fines to jail time.
What also should be considered is that the victim will most surely file a civil law suit against him. That could be financially devastating to you and your family.

Community service is valid if the customers failed to pay.
