Given that the Holy Spirit doesn't necessarily go to 'churches' - (churches being a very broad term), I'd say in some cases a person not going to 'church' is more guided then those LOST AT CHURCH.

The Holy Spirit does whatever He wants, He is not bound to churchgoers only.

I think it's all within the individual. If you strive to keep a close relationship with God, you should be ok I think. It's good to go to church and all, but you can have a close relationship with God without it. If he doesn't believe, then he probably isn't trying to keep his relationship with God strong. I don't think that there is only one way to serve God. The bottom line is that no one really knows what's right. People just need to do what works for them.

I would say no. Not because the Holy Ghost doesn't try, but because the person doesn't listen.

A person can not be guided if they do not believe and follow.
We always have our own free will.
It is more of a personal question; How much do I love God?
It is not about living a "religious" life.
It is about living a Spiritual life with our living God.
