yes i havent met his family yet BUT
i have met his sister and we are on good terms and then the only one left i havent met is his dad who is apparently a alcoholic so perhaps hes ashamed or something and thats why?
his mother and other sister do not live in this country so i understand why there also and do you think the fact hes indain might count for something?

If his parents are true to their culture, this is the reason he will not introduce you. They would rather prefer their son with an Indian woman. So if they met you, they will be dissappointed. Just my two cents.

How do you mean, his dad is apparently an alcoholic? Who told you that, and does your bf know that that is what you think?
I'm sure that the fact he's Indian will count for some things - there may be cultural aspects to his family that you are not aware of i.e. why do his mother and sister live in another country? Are his parents married or divorced? It seems odd to me that a married couple would live in different countries, so that is something I would ask your bf about ... why ?
Communication is so important in a relationship and you need to be able to feel comfortable in talking to your bf about things. If he's not comfortable telling you, then that's up to him to say and you to decide to respect or question further.
