Ok lets say that u dated a girl, weren't together for a long time but broke up on good terms and stayed "friends with benefits". Neither u or her really like commitment u would rather just mess around and have fun. What would make u all of a sudden change ur mind and want to get back together with her?

obviously she's a very special and lovely person and she's been missing in my life. she's fun to be around, has a lovely voice and i could listen to her for years. she has a lovely face - the sight of her next to me on the pillow when i open my eyes each morning makes me smile and feel great all day !
she has a lovely smell about her all the time - like a cross between heaven and all things good.
her body is so lucious and she tatses so good that i don't understand how i ever let her walk out of my life. i need her, want her, love her and want to be with her always.
with her commitment would be fun.

You must really like this guy, to ask this question. First thing you can't ever make anyone fall in love with you or think some spell or potion will either. It's your decision to remain by truly beating yourself by being hung up over this guy. I'd look in a mirror and think what the heck am I doing. When he asks you to jump how high do you? Your really hurting yourself not him because he is still getting benefits from you having stars in your eyes for this guy. I have never be cruel to an ex- partner to give them false hope or offer advice of a false hope to any of my friends who have broken up with a partner. All of the relationships you have in your life are a lesson be it with your family, friends, lovers, your children or people you work with. You do grow stronger as a person with every relationship you know inside of yourself if it's time to move on or remain. Life is far too short believe me on this, I lost my girlfriend in a car accident and no chant or dance I do is ever going to bring her back. It's great you have remained great friends, since your relationship voided. To much pressure or threats towards him you will loose much more than you already have lost. If You can't except the relationship you still have, then It's time to just move on. Even if you won the lottery or shot gun wedding telling this guy you were pregnant , He still would not have the deep love eyes he had only for you, when you first met as you still do for him. This is really how life is it can really suck most of the time or enjoy it . Do some back packing and travel a bit it really clears your head by meeting new people and change the record or song you are playing now and it's a real blast to meet new people and work in another country. Rather than sitting around with false hope. You never know this guy might really end up missing having you around or in his life, so don't end up becoming pathetic or socially insecure person even you would know a person like that, and I bet you don't hang out with them. Madonna sang "Don't go for second best baby." play that song loud and listen to the words a few times. Just remember there are people in your life who do love you and you should return the love and friendship back to them.

Why change thing, that's what you both want, the ability to find someone better any time you like with no guilt. Not have to explain yourself when you go or do something. As long as you can continue to fake your heart into believing sex is affection and love, you'll be ok. It' sixties like, but you wont see me throwing the first stone.

KNOWING THAT SHE WOULD BE DOING THE SAME THING, MAYBE WITH OTHERS. GUYS ARE ALL FOR FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS, UNTIL THEY REALIZE THAT IT MAY BE POSSIBLE AND WITHIN THE AGREED UPON RULES FOR HER TO BE WITH SOMEONE ELSE. MEN ARE CONSIDERED PIGS WHEN IT COMES TO SEX BECAUSE MEN SEE SEX AS JUST PHYSICAL PLEASURE, NOT EMOTIONAL INTIMACY LIKE SOME WOMEN, SO WE THINK TWICE ABOUT SOMEONE WE LOVE, SHARING THEMSELVES WITH OTHERS.
