It's a biology thing. OK, think back to days when men hunted and women did cave things. Women need to carry a child for nine months before they give birth, and after they did so, the child was pretty much helpless for a couple of years.

Nature needed to introduce some way of keeping the guy with the woman so that he would stay with her and help raise the kids. That's why intense love lasts long enough to conceive and for the first year or two of a kids life. It's to make sure the parents stay together to look after the child. After this the guy has developed and transfered some of his love to his offspring, so that he then stays around long enough to help it grow up, protect it and teach it.

And while he's still around, he's still making babies with the woman so the cycle continues.

You could say that love is an emotional bond that forms between humans to help the continuation of the human race by aiding reproduction. In that raising kids requires a family unit and love is what keeps them together.

There's enough information(on love) on yahoo answers to write a novel, three short stories and string the rest of the letters around the moon and back again. What else would bring us together, and keep us together.

because it's programmed in the human brain to reproduce and over the years the human brain has evolved to being more emotional regarding reproduction, and further on in time it has gained morels that it feels it has to withstand and falling in love is a result of that,
good luck i hope this helps x

Love or lust? Probably because we are, by nature, pack animals and need the fulfilment achieved through relationships.

Everyone has a lot of love within themselves and want to share it with someone else......It's nice to have someone you can trust and share your most inner feelings with! It's also very nice to be madly in "lust" with someone and just have a bit of fun!!
