I'd be mad. Write an angry letter, I've had similar things happen to me, where a question has been taken down for no apparent reason other than it pissed someone off.
To answer your pagan religion question. Paganism can cover a lot of 'folk' or 'alternative' religions, such as Wicca, Voodoo, a lot of Dharmic religions and so on. Generally the word pagan is used to describe a 'non-mainstream' (ie, not of the 'People of the Book' such as Christianity or Judaism, not Hindu, etc) religion. Paganism is also commonly used to describe any polytheist (more than one god) religions.
Hope that helps!

Paganism (from Latin paganus, meaning "an old country dweller, rustic", or possibly Ancient Greek pagos, meaning "menhir") is a term which, from a Western perspective, has come to connote a broad set of spiritual or cultic practices or beliefs of any folk religion, and of historical and contemporary polytheistic religions in particular.
The term can be defined broadly, to encompass the faith traditions outside the Abrahamic monotheistic group of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The group so defined includes the Dharmic religions (such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism), Native American religions and mythologies and Shinto as well as non-Abrahamic ethnic religions in general. More narrow definitions will not include any of the world religions and restrict the term to local or rural currents not organized as civil religions. Characteristic of Pagan traditions is the absence of proselytism, and the presence of a living mythology which explains religious practice.[1]

Sorry about your question being deleted!
But - If it was full of negative things towards Pagans, then I can see why it got deleted.

Pagans worship a variety of man-made gods. I suppose they may believe in the one true God, but need a visible sign of Him, like the Israelites did when they got Aaron to make the golden calf. Perhaps you asked your question in an unpleasant way?

seriously, complaining about it really isnt going to do anything cause no one can really be sure if you even posted anything or who reported. its just not productive. just ask your question again. chances are the person who flagged you wont be around again.
as for the question itself, you act like there is one pagan religion. the fact is there are many brands of paganism.

There are some sorry unhappy souls out there who feel like they have to censor other peoples beliefs and thoughts just because they are miserable in their own thoughts and beliefs. I wish they would just mind their own business and let other people express themselves as they see fit (free country, isnt it?). Hear that you miserable sorry **ck?
