So how much do they pay for a U.S soldier and what are the benefits when you die? Its not that I’m in need of money it's just that I want the war between Iraq and the U.S force to end.
I know that they wouldn’t matter care for what age are u in, You just have to show them your green card.

I’m an Amerasian and I don’t know why I’m doing this, I just hate the old life of going to school and working, besides I don’t even have a dream! well life sucks.

Well that depends on your rank. I got out of the Navy after 10 years as an E-6 and was taking home about 1800 or so every 2 weeks. I don't really remember what starting pay was but I believe its somewhere around 1000 every 2 weeks. Of course thats all based on what your particulars are because they have lots and lots of extra bonuses, kickers, allowances and etc. Going on long deployments allows you to save up really large sums of cash, my brother went to Iraq for a year in the Army and managed to save up around 40K or more by eliminating all his bills and storing his stuff. The life insurance policy is limited to around 300k I believe and that costs you about 30 bucks a month or so, plus another 5k for funeral costs. Not great but I never planned on using it.

I don't recommend joining any armed forces because "I don't know why". You need to think about what you want to do in life long term then see if the military can help you achieve that. What do you like to do? What do you want to do? You have to answer those questions before you can move ahead.

With that said there are some very good options available in the Navy and Air Force. The Navy has great programs for Nuclear Power, Medical, Dental, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, and Construction careers just to name a few. Probably the only branch I wouldn't join is the Marines, but then I have a good friend that was in the Marines and is doing basically the same job at a refinery that I am now. What I promise you that you will get regardless of the branch is discipline and experience. I wound up not doing what I initially wanted to do in the Navy, which was to be a combat medic. But its all worked out good, I formed some great friendships, traveled to a slew of countries and in general grew up and became an adult. Another option is the Coast Guard, but I dont know much about the puddle pirates.

If you go on military.com you can find a lot of answers to all of your questions. They have the pay rate on the site as well. They have the difference between all of the military branches so that you could decide which branch would be the best for you. I am a Army wife but have a sister in the Air Force and the two branches are extremely different, although the pay is the same. I hope that this helps you in your decision. Good luck.

Pay is dependent on paygrade and Time In Service. Other pays and allowances will vary from person to person and are dependent on job, location, family status and other variables, such as Pro Pay for doing well on the DLPT(Defense Language Proficiency Test).

you WILL deploy. Whether it is to Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Darfur or a host of other hotspots is anybody's guess. You will be eligible to deploy the minute you report to your first duty station after completing all training.

If you really must know, here is a link for the life insurance for soldiers.

The cost for SGLI coverage alone is 70 cents per $10,000 or $29 per month for the maximum of $400,000, this includes a mandatory $1 charge for TSGLI. Coverage, regardless of duty status, is 24 hours per day, 365 days per year under SGLI.

you'll go through vigourous training, as for deployment, you may or may not. but joining the army is a huge commitment, you should really rethink your choice of joining and why you want to. and the pay ain't that great starting out, you want the big bucks, you'll have to earn it.
