Either you're low blood or low on your blood sugar.
It happened to me in Kuwait as I am on night shift 2300h and goes home around around 12 noon. Because of less sleep I often have that sitting in the car and when I stood up the dizziness and the spell last about 10-15 secs. I later check my BP and it was low. But my friend walks and collapses whenever his blood sugar is low/high, he is diabetic.
Please go see a doctor.

It is because a change in blood pressure. While you are sitting, your blood pressure drops because your circulatory system is not working quite has hard as when your are standing and walking. When you suddenly stand, you are placing a new demand and your body can't keep up as quickly as you like so you get dizzy. If you are actually blacking our though, it could represent something more and you should tell you doctor on you next visit.

You stood up too fast. When you stay at a sitting position for a period of time, your heart gets used to pumping blood at that certain position. When you suddenly stand up, your head doesn't have enough blood while the heart works faster to get blood into your brain, hence you lose sight, muscle control, and sometimes black out.

Sometimes a virus or an infection (such as with inner ear) can cause some of these symptoms but the only way to know for sure is to have this evaluated further by your doctor to see what they think is going on.

Most probably you are having postural hypotension. Your blood pressure drops as soon as you stand up. You need to record yr blood pressure while lying down and also immediately on standing up. You need to see a doc.

drbark and soki are correct. You might also be having issues with anemia. The ONLY course for you is to see a doctor AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, perhaps even the emergency room. This is not normal for someone your age.

It used to happen to me too... it sounds like your intestines "open" up and this forces all the blood to rush there.....this can happen just standing there too.....
