there's a girl in my relatives who's telling ppl that I'm a bloody whore and you know, things like that...all I can make out of this is that she used to have a crush on my cousin and that cousin turned out to be my fiance` and we're getting married in november.... I didn't even know this girl existed until last night when I saw her at a wedding...
do you think she might be doing this cuz she's just jealous ?
what should I do? just ignore her or go up to her and ask 'what's up with you, y're you telling ppl all this crap about me' ??

well... he's not really my cousin... he's a relative but our families have very close relationships .... and that girl who liked my fiance , I didn't know her cuz, well, am I supposed to know each of my relatives when there are like hundreds of them just living in the same city ??? and about marrying your cousin, it's the most common thing in Pakistan. you can marry your mom and dad's sister's or brother's son or daughter. that's perfectly ok here....

Yes, she's probably jealous.
If it's not true, you have no reason to be bothered by her comments. If you just met her last night, there's no reason why you need to stay in contact with her, is there? If not, then just ignore her.
The relatives who know you, know what you're like. They won't believe her anyway.

Edit: In modern day US (and many other countries), marrying your first cousin is taboo. You know your culture though, and if it's normal there, then don't worry about what the rest of the world thinks.

What other motivation could she have? It has to be jealousy. Moreover anyone that knows her and the situation, will know that she is being a nasty little b i t ch....so try to be calm about it!
Ignore her unless you are forced to do otherwise.
Perhaps your fiance or his family could intervene....
