been together about 3 months. we spend a lot of time together. he is scared that i will leave him. but i dont think i can give him any committment. but he is pressurising me to give him reassurance

i dont think you should break up with him. maybe you should try saying something along the lines of: i really enjoy yourcompany and i def. like you but right now, im sure im ready to take on the same level of commitment that you are. I dont want for us to break up but the added pressure your putting on me isnt helping. Can you give me alittle time to find the words to describe how i feel?
Jeez thats really mushy. Sounds like a daytime soap. but seriously something along the lines of that might be good.
Maybe you should be asking yourself why is it that you cant commit to him.

the longer you wait wait the more hurt the guy will be, cut him some slack and tell him honestly that you cant return his love the way he wants it. do not prolong the agony. Just think if the situation would be reversed on you? How would you feel?

Tell him the truth so he has the option of moving on. It's cruel to lead someone on just because you assume he'll be hurt otherwise. And, he may be, but he'll get over you just like you have gotten over others.

you should tell him the truth now before its too late as not everyone thinks the same..if he gets serious he might not wanna leave you later on..dont play with a persons feeling

you can only be honest about the way you feel. the worst thing you can do is to drag the situation out, if you no longer want to be with this person you have to tell them no matter how difficult it may be. if you don't you may end up hurting this person more that you intended to.

well,the best way is to leave him at once!
if you don't ,he'll want more from you, and expecting more and more.
so i tink you should ditch him by staying away from hm slowly.
like rejecting an invtation to the movies ....
don't leave him straight away,or he might think that you're suspicious....
