I am an Indian, I need Emigration Clearance, does one need it for Hong Kong and Australia.

I am going to Hong Kong with a stop over at Singapore. Would I still need ECNR, as I dont have sufficient time. I wanted to reconfirm that we dont need Clearance for Australia.

Yes, you should get ECNR stamped on your passport before leaving. Recently the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India have been simplified the criteria for granting ECNR status. Submit your passport along with the attested copy of your educational certificates (matriculation or above) and you will get back your passport on the same day.
