How true to the Gospel is the institution of the Catholic today?
How confident are you that the Catholic Church is producing more evangelisers than lawyers?
Is it good enough for the faithful to be loyal to the institution at the expense of not understanding what Christianity is all about?
What steps is the Church taking to win back the following and trust of the affluent and enlightened western world where many born Catholics are turning in droves to Atheism, Buddhism and agnosticism etc.?
Jesus became one of the commoners to win hearts. He was a carpenter who had dust on his hands and feet. How is this hands on attitude of Jesus reflected in the attitude of the hierarchy?
Jesus identified with the masses. Why does the body of the institution ostracises itself so much from ordinary society to the point that it becomes alien instead empathic?
However, dear Holy father, you do not need to answer any of these embarrassing questions. "Would you like a cup of tea or some refreshments? Would you like to have a look at our garden before you go?

"How did you find the house?" I know he couldn't have googles or used any other map site on the internet because all of those lead you to a place 4 miles from my house rather than to it...
Then I would ask him "What brought you out here to within spitting distance of nowhere?"
Then I'd prolly ask "Do you need to use the restroom?" Most people who come to the house need to because they have spent so long finding it after the internet maps got them lost...

I would ask him to come in and make himself at home. Then maybe we will ask him if he wanted to to have lunch or supper with us. Then maybe we will ask him what he needs and ask how we can help him. Then maybe we will ask him to stay as long as he wants then we can ask him many questions about the church and how we can help him. Then maybe we will ask him to tell us stories and other things he wants to share with us. It would be like a visit from Christ Himself.

Mmm, good question. "Joe," I would say, "how do you feel about the contribution that your church's teachings on contraception make to the circulation of AIDS in Africa?"

I would ask him if he wanted a beer, if he's always worn chiffon dresses, and if he was really a nazi.

I would ask him for the keys to the bowels of the Vatican where all the Christian history is stored...
Then one could once and for all expose the Christian religion for what it is, a false religion...
Blessed Be... )O(
