It's Portuguese; it means "Hi, what do you want in exchange for a paintbrush, babe? Please reply, thanks."

The form of the Portuguese indicates that the writer is (a) Brazilian (rather than from Portugal) and is (b) female. I am afraid I have no ideas on the cryptic reference to paintbrushes!!

It's in Portuguese, not Spanish. I only know a little Portuguese; the last part "responde obrigada" means "respond please" and it was definitely written by a woman; a man would have said "obrigado" with an "o" on the end instead of "obrigada" with an "a" on the end. As for the first part, I understand that "o que é que voce quer" means "what is it that you want?" but I do not understand the "em troca de um pincel bebe". The "oi" which begins the passage is a common greeting in Portuguese.
