Bowling for Columbine did it to the gun culture.

Super Size Me did it to fast food.

Now The God Who Wasn't There does it to religion.

Holding modern Christianity up to a bright spotlight, this bold and often hilarious new film asks the questions few dare to ask.

Your guide through the world of Christendom is former fundamentalist Brian Flemming, joined by such luminaries as Jesus Seminar fellow Robert M. Price, professor Richard Dawkins, author Sam Harris and historian Richard Carrier.

See the movie the Los Angeles Times calls "provocative - to put it mildly."

Hold on to your faith. It's in for a bumpy ride.

For many years I have always doubted the existence of Jesus or whatever you call him. But no one could answer my questions. I guess this movie will.

What do you guys feel, and have you even heard of this movie. it must at least raise a brow.

Christianity has been under scrutiny since its inception, and has held up just fine. So, four atheists are going to throw pebbles at God, I am sure He is scared. Remember the "Last Temptation of Christ"? That was suppose to throw a wrench into the Biblical account of Christ, it barely made a thud.
Remember the "DaVinci Code"? How that was going cause a tidal wave in Christendom? Barely a ripple.
You wanna know the truth? These guys aren't any smarter nor have any more knowledge than all the others who tried this same thing. It won't cause a dent in Christendom. Did you ever wonder why guys like Dawkins who are so smart and so knowledgeable, won't debate Christian apologists? I think it has to do with getting their clocks cleaned that keeps them hiding in their ivory towers. Believe me, we are not concerned about this in the least, it too will end up in the dust bin of history along with all the other nonsensical attempts to take God off His throne.

I have watched the clips from the website, and I am still a believer of God!! HE is in my heart, therefore if anyone questions whether or not this movie documentary is true or not... just remember this:
It is made, produced, directed, and roled by human beings who are sinners, liars, ultimately imperfect people! How could you use a man-made movie to determine your beliefs about God? The movie itself is based on biased opinions!! God does have a sense of humor, but I see no hilarity when it comes to making God look like a fool, and as if HE doesn't exist and doesn't care!! As a firm Christian, I am appauled that there are movies being made such as this that are nothing but a mockery of God and what HE stands for....Sacrificial Love, Peace, Devotion, and an eternity in Heaven with HIM!!
It is shameful! ) :
May God Have Mercy.....

I have the movie, It's ok, I mean it's a starting point but don't just take a movie as fact. Study it for yourself. Research each statement they make. Search for the answers. Study beyond a movie. This movie is good don't get me wrong but just don't stop at a movie.

I've seen it, and it would have been much better had the author not let his resentment of his former Christian school get the better of him. This is especially obvious near the end.

Still, some of it was a good watch.

How come this movie is not free! Just another creative way to make money. I am surprise that Michael Moore is not behind this documentary.

I guess God has better things to do than to prove Himself to people who don't trust Him. He's been with me for over 20 years, I didn't see you around.

I guess you didn't know that He doesn't want most people. Especially those who spend all their time trashing His name.

Would you hang around someone who was trashing your name all the time? I don't think you would.

No and I have no intention of watching it, there is already too much propaganda against religions, but human beings are more empty than ever.
