God does not create a person with homosexual desires. The Bible tells us that a person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of their own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving into their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for then to give into those desires? Of course not! The same is true for homosexuality.
However, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a “greater” sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

The bible does condemn the act of homosexuality, so you're right - if you believe the bible, then you can't justify acting on homosexual feelings. It's not necessarily a sin to have those feelings though, whether you're born with them or however you come to have them. It only matters what you do with them - if you let them define who you are, that's when you fall into sin. Everyone has certain temptations that they are more enticed by, but we are all expected to turn away from the sin. There are also many others who won't have the chance to marry in this life, and the same moral chastity is expected of them as well, no matter what their sexual feelings are. Marriage is not necessarily a good therapy to to help people "get over" homosexuality. That has to be decided by the individual if that's what they feel they should do.

You throw the word "Christian" around like you're grouping all Christians into one team.
True Christians are not gay. You really need to remember to use the word false or true when describing Christians because I am a Christian and do not condone or support homosexuality in any way, shape, fashion.
1 Corinthians 6: 9 - 10
What! Do you not know who won't inherit God's kingdom? Idolators, extortioners, thieves, liars, men who lie with men, men who use the flesh unnaturally, drunkards, greedy persons (gamblers, etc.), revilers, etc., will not inherit God's kingdom.
If they don't inherity God's kingdom, where else will they be? Six feet under, Hades, Sheol, Hell = the common grave and second final death for mankind.
Do not group false Christians in with "True Christians". Intelligent people know that homosexulity is something detestable and unclean to God. Keep abstaining from the unclean thing.

Not being a Christian I think has flawed your logic. You seem to accept that ALL Christians take the Bible as it's currently translated, and not as it was written. Being both gay and Christian, I did my own research, going back to the original Greek and Hebrew texts. Nowhere in the Bible is homosexuality condemned. Certain homosexual practices are, as are certain heterosexual practices.
God made me this was, and Christ's sacrifice on the cross saved me.
The following two links will help you understand what gay Christians have come to know.

I agree with you that christianity and homosexuality cannot co-exist because the God condemns it, and it is abviously wrong. I can't understand how a man can be attracted to another man. It's just wrong. Were some people born that way? I think so. But I strongly believe that they can get help. I really don't know if would be able to accept a brother, or a son who is gay. It would be very hurtful to me. Before marrying a woman, I would advise the person to get help anywhere he could, because men was made for women and vice versa, and that's the way it should remain.

The Bible CLEARLY condemns a lot of things some of them far more than homosexuality.
For example, the Bible time and time again condemns the charging of interest on loans so you could just as easily ask "How do Christian bankers deal with their own userous ways?"
After all, what is the one time Jesus lost his temper? Gays? nope... it was MONEY LENDERS....
ps. according to Deuteronomy 23: 19-20 it is OK to charge interest to foreigners... Just not your fellow faithful or countrymen!
Why are so many fundy Christians obsessed with judging homosexuals and ignore SO many other more important Biblical sins????

It's sad to say that there really is no response that will get through to these types of people. They think what they want to think and no amount of evidence to the contrary will change their minds. I'm amused by the turn in tactics myself. The hell fire and brimstone approach doesn't work so now they're concerned for our health? Sorry, not buying it. When the can show me actual facts from the AMA, the CDC or WHO I'll listen. Until then, it's just bigotry in a warm fuzzy wrapper.

The few Christians I have met who were homosexual behaved in this way:
- denying their homosexuality
- being very confused, unhappy and promiscuous
They were not very good at promoting their religion nor their sexuality and lived always unhappy lives (spreading their unhappiness to others too)
But maybe this is the minority, maybe others can live according to their religion. It is a difficult question, which I can't solve.

I have a homosexual christian friend, and his reasoning: the bible WAS written by men, not god, so there are bound to be faults in it. He says he does not think he would go to hell for being with his partner. Maybe that is a bit of "tweaking the circumstances": you don't like it, you change it. Then again, quite a few believers seem to be able to that when it comes to the dirtier parts of their holy books ... we don't like it, so it wasn't as bad as depicted.
Before I get thumbs down for "thumping believers": hey, I said a FEW, I didn't generalise. Black sheep are everywhere.

A natural born homosexual is an oddity of science, (screw religion, you eat shirmp and you burn in Hell according to the same book of the bible that says you can't be gay. Leviticus for those that are wondering) in the fact that a living organism must reproduce to be classified as a living organism. Actively participating in homosexuality eliminates this from happening, thus making homosexuals technically a non-living organism.
