Do you make an effort to "connect" with the Lord every day? Do you look at prayer as something you do when you need something from the Lord? How important is it to reserve time to just praise the Lord? How do you see it, Christians?

It seems impossible not to pray daily to me. It's like not talking to your husband all day. It's almost automatic. Jesus is my closest friend, and He never has to leave me to go to work. I'm pretty much chatting with Him all throughout the day. God bless!!

prayer is very important to me- granted there are days that I pray more than others, however, prayer is NOT getting God ready to do our will, it is getting us ready to do His. Prayer is the way we connect with our heavenly Father- it is a blessing to be able to communicate with Him, daily. Not just for things from Him, but just to worship Him and spend time with the One we claim we love. Prayer should be the air that we breathe.

Prayer is one of the most important aspects of a relationship with God. I don't think a daily time has to be set for prayer. It's best to pray whenver you want to talk with God.

Prayer is VERY important for starters 1 Thessalonians 5:17 "pray without ceasing," and I do read the BIBLE at least 1 hour everyday and it has had a great impact on my life 1 Peter 5:7 "casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."

I pray every day. Most of the time without ever thinking about it. I pray before I go to sleep and as soon as I wake up. I also pray after every meal. I have special prayers for special days and try to pray the rosary daily. I thank God for everything He gives me. I also pray before I leave and as soon as I get back (I think you get the picture).

prayer and praise should be a constant thought. I take time to read the bible every day but feel I am talking to God most of the time in thought.

Im not a very talkative person. I dont go crazy if im not talking to someone.Prayer isnt very important aspect to my life. I go to a catholic school. We have prayer 2 times a day and mass once a month. I feel like I am so comfortable with God that we dont have to talk and thats cool. When i pray i think that im just thinking to myself.
Its like when youre so comfortable with a person what you dont have to say anything, and theyres nothing wrong with it.

I like AdoreHim's answer - prayer is to make our will become the same as His will. We need to pray that we will be guided to find out what He wants us to know and do and to have the strength and courage to do so.
