he's one of my ex boyfriends best friends.

normally this is wrong and a 'no - no' or whatever, but seeing as how said ex is still a good friend and currently going out with my best friend, it's all good.

i've only ever aactually met him three times - once when i was going out with my ex, last weekend when i hung out with him and his friends, and a few nights ago when him, my ex, another of my ex's friends, and my best friend spent the night at my house.

i'm 16 going on 17, hes 18.

he's obviously into me because he'll text me and want to hang out with me a lot, and we hooked up a little last time i saw him (we only made out, i'm not about to be a slut for him, and he'd hug me and hold me and act really couple-y most of the time)

i really like this guy but my best friend was talking to him and he said he didn't want a relationship right now.

should i just work on getting him to like me more or what?

Nah dont force anything. If you dont mind a casual thing go for it. But its better to get it from his mouth what he is looking for.

if he says he doesnt want a relationship or anything now, then take his word for it. have fun with him, stay friends, flirt, whatever you want. you can work on getting him to like you more but dont expect annything much out of it, otherwise you may be hurt. cos he says he wants to take things slow, and he might be going off to college soon anyway.

so meanwhile, take it easy and have fun. and its well ok if his your ex's best fren :P

just stay good friends. believe me, at 17 the last thing you need is a relationship. have fun but be safe about it
