It doesn't seem like it does it? Yes there is though, I see some of them here..I would be one of them...I believe implicitely in the Bible and I trust it as being the inspired Word of God in my heart but more importantly...intellectually it stimulates all kinds of fabulous thought and conclusion. Seeking God for me is a never ending quest until I can see Him face to face. Love in Christ, ~J~

I seek to connect with the Higher Power, and the Christ Consciousness. I believe in my heart. I believe in love, compassion and kindness. I believe in living simply and trusting in the infinite wisdom of the Universe, Mother/Father God, the Great Spirit. The one who goes by many names, but is truly unnameable. I love learning about many faiths and philosophies, but ultimately I follow my own path with the goal of helping others leaving this world a better place than when I found it.

The Bible is a collection of parables and stories written by people who lived 2,000 to 5,000 years ago. It has been translated and retranslated many times. It's an interesting literary work which gives us insights into the culture of the time, and does contain moral truths, as do all the other holy books - the Talmud, the Koran, The Baghavad Gita, the Tao Te Ching, etc.

I don't "trust" in the Bible any more than I trust any of the above or any other book written by man. I can read it, enjoy it, reflect on the stories and parables and learn things from them, but that is as far as it goes.

Anyone who claims they seek God and trust the bible is a liar. How can you believe that the same god would tell us not to kill and order mass executions?

I'm an atheist, but I believe that religion will be with us for a long time - although it will continue to evolve just as humans evolve. A better understanding of memetics may actually save religion from gradual extinction. God may get a "face lift" from savvy marketers to make him more palatable to future generations - or perhaps replaced with a more ambiguous Deistic version.

With my whole heart and with all of my mind and with all of my strength i believe, by the grace of Jesus
who died for me and by His resurrection i know He is the WORD made flesh,
He is coming again soon and like the people in the days of Noah
people were living in deception and darkness not hearing or seeing when truth was spoken
Not seeking the Living God, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. The God who is and was and is to come,
If you are in any church that are not like the Bereans get out of her, IF......
they are accepting truth for lies
they are teaching getrichquickwith Jesus doctrines
they are teaching cheap grace and a crossless Christ
they are teaching apostacy Repent and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to where the Real
JESUS IS BEING TAUGHT.
my prayers are with all who have and ear to hear and understand.

Trust the Bible? How did Noah get to the Amazon Rain Forest to gather many of the 2.5 million different kinds of insects?

Maybe more than you think - Lot's of hearts turning to God in China (Lots!) and even in America. People know that God is real - nature declares Him, our own conviction and the built in void that needs God to fill it.
