Cantcu you don't know WHAT you are talking about. Mexico DOES NOT even come CLOSE to providing us with 1/3 of our oil. Maybe, maybe 1/10 of it. a third of our oil does come from the Gulf of Mexico, perhaps you should learn your geography a bit better.

With regard to the quasi question / rant... Caldron is a pipsqueek who is doing nothing more than playing to his audience. He will be the first one to cry like a baby if Bush were to tell HIM to get his countries act together and provide for his own people,
I am amazed at the differences in the two countries. Mexico has the natural resources and opportunities the United States has, in in many instances, more so. Yet the greed and corruption the government displays makes our government officials look like choir boys.

And ours isn't his!

Why don't you tell the Mexicans while you are at it to cut off the oil they send us. They only supply the US with 1/3 of its oil. You aren't complaining about that, are you?

And neither is Bush above the law, as he will soon find out!

By the way, we tried the prisoner routine in California as far as picking fruit. They refused to do it! And even if they didn't I have a hard time with it. This is free enterprise, not lets see how many workers we can put out of work letting private industry use state supported prisoners to make more profit. BS! Let them hire workers at reasonable wages, but the problem is, no one wants to do it!

see the link re oil imports...

as to the rest- if Mexico [and the other central American countries] had set up a society that permitted its members to
earn an acceptable living, there would be fewer US immigration problems.
