Should I ever chase a girl I like?

Whenever I like a girl I don't try to go for her. I eventually become friends with them but I don't go any deeper. I'm a shy guy and I always doubt that the girl will ever like me or fall for me if I try. Right now I just gave up on this girl who is my friend because I found out she likes fob guys. You know fresh off the boat Asian guys with unique hairstyles, pale face, skinny, and a unique fashion as well. I thought American girls liked guys muscular tan guys with classy American youth style outfits. I can't ever live up to what she wants so I gave up and this always happens when I find out I can't live up to the girls' needs. Am I wrong to do this? Why am I wrong? Can anyone explain?

My dad chased my mother when they were young and at first she didn't like him and thought of him as a creepy stalker but now they are still happily married still and I don't think they will ever part form each other. Why can't I be a ladies man like my father...

IT's NOT wrong..

It's your mindset..Change that first..Say that you can..
If not, there won't be any point with advices even if they come from the best counsellors in the world..

Take it slowly..Change that mideset to a more positive kind..It might not be an easy journey as there are tendencies you might fall back to your old midset, but remember to always TRY..You can give up chasing girls you like, but giving up is not an option in changing your mindset for the better..

How to: Easy, just think positive things..Not easy, as we humans have the tendency to think otherwise..But always TRY..

Example..:
Situation: Girl likes fob guys.
Positive**: "Well, ok..Guess she likes those guys..I can always like her, but maybe it's not the right time yet or maybe I should just give her time to get to know me and perhaps I'll stand a chance..If not, perhaps there's always other girls.."
Negative**: "Oh no, she likes only fob guys..I don't have a chance at all..Why cant I be like those guys....."

**PS: These are just EXAMPLES that I come up with..You might or might not think these way..


Change the mindset, and you might even change that shyness into something more comfortable for you..

Another piece of advice..Girls are complicated..Oh well.. =)

In love, it usually happens that we dont really get what we want in our "Must-Have in a Guy/Girl" list..So dont give up..Always TRY..

well dude never chase a girl , it shows weakness nowadays. different when your dad was chasing your mom. And never , I SAY AGAIN NEVER CHANGE WHO you are to land a woman. You will regret it, whether its a week later or ten years later. Be yourself but just be a little more aggressive and less shy , all she can do is say no and then there is another girl waiting to be taken .

a women will never date a friend, a guy they like or one that shows interest.

first, find one that likes your type, then ignore her. tell her you are not interested, she is too short .you never go out with short girls. now she will chase you because you are what they call a "challenge", no, i dont know what they mean by that, i just know, that is how they date.
