The dog or death by starvation is the question. All of you are full of crap! You would choose to chow down on the hound. No pun intended…

I don't remember the name of the book, but it is about an Eskimo boy and his dog team. Through many problems, he lost all but his lead dog and THEY ended up on an ice flow. It goes through how both were starving and eying each other as a source of food. The boy had a hunting knife and had finally decided he had to kill his lead dog (and good friend). The dog sensed it, too. The boy decided at the last minute that he couldn't do it and threw away the knife--which stuck in the ice point down. He then realized he was now at the mercy of his dog. To make a long story short, they curled up together to die. At the last minute, a plane flying over spotted the sun glinting off of the knife and they were rescued.

No, I wouldn't eat my dog.

I would assume that the dog also had no food and since his body is much smaller than mine, he would likely perish first and so in that event ONLY, I would likely have to consume the remains, just like that story in the 70's when the airplane crashed in Chile and the survivors had to eat their dead human friends. And I think that if my dog knew he may save my life with his remains he would want me to do so. But I would never just murder my dog and eat him, no. But more than that, being that I am diabetic, I would most likely go into a coma and die myself and I would want my dog to eat My remains so that He could live! Most definately. I'd be dead and not feel a thing anyway. And I love my dogs that much that if I could keep them alive in my death, if there is an afterlife, I would be happy they could live off me.

Hell no!!!! If there was no food id be looking for something all over the place even if it means to eat my table's leg!!! Ive been there starving in the past when i was young and homeless and believe me your heart is stronger than your stomach.....you would go crazy running out of the town looking for something that is avaiable but not those kind of animals its something you can control beside the dogs would die before you they would be starving and possible more like theyll eat you before you get the chance to eat them ha!!

Of course not. But people use to say China People actully eat dogs meat. If I were hungry, I will not eat my dog, I will just buy something to eat from a restaurant.

Can't you sweat a little to earn your own food ? Earn your own food. One can starved to death if lazy. Dogs can somehow find their own food. But eating one's own dog is out of question. No, I won't do that. He is man's best friend.

Nope sorry.. But the dogs are free to chow down on my dead body if they want to.. I wouldn't have the heart to eat them.. Sad that you could / would eat your dog.. I wouldn't want to be your friend.. One little disaster and you are eating everyone in sight.

No, I wouldn't eat my dog, and I wouldn't eat yours, either ... but I'd have no problem roasting YOU slowly on a spit over a flame for even asking such a horrid question.
