Each seller can have different rules on what kind of payment they will accept. Many accept payment through paypal - to use that you'd have to have a credit card or bank account. Some sellers will also accept money orders. It should say in their listing what kind of payment they'll accept.

If the seller accepts a type of payment that you are able to make, then you'd sign up for ebay and go ahead and place a bid. Usually it's best to wait to bid until down toward the end of the auction.

find out if the seller will accept a money order. If so, then buy the mo and make it payable to the seller. Send them the top copy and the bottom copy is for your records. It is best to send mo registered mail or certified mail so you have proof it got delivered.

You could go the easiest route and find a friend who uses ebay/paypal and ask him/her to get the item you want and just give him/her the money. Good luck!

Before you buy, you can get up to 36% of your sellers fee when you purchase something on ebay.
