Personal preference.
Why would you not get a tattoo?

I have my back covered with 3 different tattoos and 1 on the inside of each bicep,i find that there a form of self expression,i'm normallya quiet guy but the tattoos i have all say something different about me

I have 9. different people get them for different reasons. some get them because they mean something to them.. like the death of a beloved family member.. ranging from a pet to a grand parent and everywhere in between.
others get them because it's the 'cool' thing to do now days. you will find that the majority of people don't have a reason behind their tats anymore... "it looked like awesome art".

i have 2 of them i got the 1st on a dare and the 2nd just because..............i like them they are cute girly tattoos and in places that can't be seen everyday

because they look good and can be used as a reminder of a time and place or something you have done or been through. also they are just good works of art you can cherish forever if they r done right!

Mine will be in memory of something very special to me, or in memorial of someone very special to me, in other words something that means a lot to me and that I want to remember and look at for the rest of my life.

people tend to get tats because they are popular, its the in-thing in the 20 something generation. And people tendto get them as a memorial to a loved one who has passed.Its also a display of art. i have 10 and have no regrets. if you don't like tats , thats your choice just as it was my choice to get them.

I think they're ugly. I was just looking at a pic of Joel Madden (Good Charlotte) and he is going for a jog...then I thought, what;s the point? Even if he has a great body structure and tone you would never see it under all of his tats!
I would much prefer to look at a natural naked body than one with ugly pictures all over it.
