Kudos to Timothy B for seeing my adaption of the original. 'Fraid not however about my age, you see I was newly married when that episode originally aired.
Did not think many others had seen it, yeah ensign marooned on a deserted planet....

You ate the dates. That my friend is possibly older than you are. Seen it on Star Trek Voyager. Neelix asks Tuvok this question in an episode. Tuvok gives a nice response to the question. He is dead.
Both Tim Russ and Ethan Phillips are alive and well, It was Tuvoks final answer that the Ensign is dead. Due to logic. Neelix is like; Dates get it? Tuvok is upset over use of word play, walks into next room and and almost gets killed by some cloaked alien.
Also sorry if I offended you about the age thing, but a lot of people ask a lot of very old jokes. I like to answer jokes that are fun and original though.

Eat the animals on the island and fish or whatever you can manage to catch from the water? Use the calendar pages to help start fire more easily to keep warm and/or cook the food. Some people even eat bugs. Drink the water that surrounds the island or rain water.

Well I barbequed some Easter Seals and ate some Christmas cakes, some Thanksgiving turkey and the rest were plain dates.
