i have a 96 dodge ram i want to know how can i add more hp or make run faster or even make it waste less gas using it the way i usually used it. ohh yea try to make the parts are cheap please

There is really no such thing as cheap speed or power. If you want power you have to pay for it. I would go to a junk yard, find a 360, and properly build it yourself. Then you will learn how to properly rebuild a motor, you can put in a performance cam, and heads, and you can do that reletivly cheap.

More air means more horsepower--so a fresh air induction system would help---of course the fuel filter must be new and the exhaust up graded to support all this work. Now the sad part--no matter what you do, the computer limits the performance--you might try to get it reprogrammed for a better performance. Do that first--you might not need any extras at all---how fast did you want to go?? Speed kills. .

The vintage of the truck adding performance parts is not cheap, and it won't hold together< How fresh is the trans thats the weak link.Look on dodge ram forum there are all the thing other have done some worked some not use there money for trying>

You're Chrysler dealer sells power modules for that truck that boosts h.p.. You can also get them via after market.

this is going to likely be greater low value to sell your truck and get a hemi. yet once you insist the only way is to supercharge the automobiles approximately 3-6k for areas and setting up. call Mopar american to get expenditures .
