Because the sex part always gets in the way...a man always wants to sleep with her...no matter what.

True? Or False? OR....Sometimes???

I got that whole quote/question from the film "When Harry Met Sally".

TRUE... the only reason a guy will settle for a friendship is if he has someone else who he's more attracted to. But if that other relationship falls through, he will be inclined to make a move on his friend.

Well thats the problem righ there, your looking at a quote from a movie, to base a theory about how men think? Very unfair I think. I am a woman and I have plenty of male friends who I have never slept with and even if they wanted to sleep with me, its up to me to open my damn legs, in which I choose to keep them closed. So to answer your question, I believe its false because women are becoming worse than men in that department.

Once they've gotten to the level of getting engaged or even having sex, back stepping to just friends is degrading, and can be anything from hard to impossible. So in a sense, Harry was right, but in other ways, he was wrong as I;m sure you saw in that movie. It just depends. But basically,it's true.
My ex and I haven't been friends, since we broke up. That's when the friendship seemed to die. Don't get me wrong, the circumstances, which I wont reveal, had something to do with it.

I wish I could tell you, but the truth is that I'm still trying to figure that one out. It doesn't really matter if you're trying to find someone. See, the thing is that sex DOES get in the way and it's people who are kind of morons that deny that is the situation. Look around at the questions being posted. 99.999% of these people are looking for mates, or denying that they are when in fact that's exactly what they're doing. It IS possible to be friends with someone of the opposite sex, but that isn't what people are looking for. That's why they deny it's possible.

I say it's FALSE.! First of all, men and woman can be friends. There's no reason why they shouldn't. A man doesn't always necessary wants to sleep with the first female friend they make. I mean, they can if they want, but it's also up for the woman to decide if she wants to sleep with him. So basically, it's a both part decision they both make on their behaves.

Depends on the situation. I do think that if there is no sexual attraction in the first place, the likelihood of friendship becoming anything else is rather small. However, sometimes friendship turns into love, especially with a man and woman (When Harry met Sally). So, there is no straight answer to this, but typically if you are in the "friend-zone" it is not easy to come out of that...

Its easy to say you are a friend but tough to live upto someone'e expectations. Thats where the whole problem starts in every damn relationship....and you cant even say that you stop expecting anything put of it. that would make no sense again.

I guess you cant answer it in true or false. it depends upon the man and the womna in question

well 2 weeks ago i would have said false, but then my bff of 2 years recently asked me to homecoming and talked about us hooking up in a joking-but-serious way.

so actually it still is false because she wants to sleep with me, not vice versa. i did at one time wanted to sleep with her... but that was before we were even best friends.

so i guess sometimes? depends on the guy.

False! I have tons a guy friends, and they dont wanna b like that. That isnt tru about men, and if it was, there would less humans in our race. Only sometimes is it tru, but other times its false. Friends can b only friends, if u allow it to b.
