Hi Wisdom.
I think what goes against nature is anything that will purposely hurt another human being. Child abuse, rape, murder - all these hurt other human beings, so they go against nature.
Everything in nature grows. The grass grows. Flowers grow. So, then, do humans grow - physically, emotionally, spiritually.
We are meant to help each other, to love one another. When we do that, we do not go against nature. If we act in a way that stops someone from growing, we are going against nature.
Peace

Take it from a freak of nature like me, everything on the earth is "of nature" even us freaks! Natural laws the way religions define them don't really exist and are merely based on ignorance, bigotry, or cultural trends. Think for yourself and free yourself.
To Kings Daughter: I'm a hormonal hermaphrodite guy who has a same-sex fiancee, what percentage of against nature does that make me? Your argument doesn't hold water in the real world.

I'd be hardpressed to label anything 'against nature.' Doing something against nature is impossible because its...ahem...not in our nature. I guess the idea that a human being could fly without assistance (like Superman) or a dog could talk would be against nature... unless it actually happened, at which point its apparently no longer against our nature (because something has radically changed in our nature)

Homophobia is against nature. We are not born homophobic. As babies, we play together happily, oblivious to each other's sex, skin color, religion or sexual orientation. As we grow up, we are taught homophobia or we learn it from those around us. In some cases, it can also be caused by a traumatic experience in one's life.
As adults, we have the choice to be homophobic or not. We know it's wrong because it leads to harm, violence and even murder against our gay brothers and sisters. We know that Christ told us one of the most important commandments is to treat others as we want to be treated. ["In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12)] When we engage in behavior which harms others, or leads to harm to others, it is in direct conflict with Christ's commandment. Therefore, homophobia is a sin. Christ did not say we could ignore His commandment when it comes to gay people. If we think we can, it makes Christ a liar.
The good news is that those afflicted with the sin of homophobia can change if they really try. They should repent and ask God for forgiveness instead of letting this sin have power over them. It's just their pride that blinds them to the truth.

What goes against nature goes against God's design. 1 male and 1 female, is the natural order established by God. The only acceptable exception is hermaphridite, or earthworms they can self replicate by God's design. Male on male or female on female is against nature. Only man is held accountable because he is able to make a consicious decision, and can control his actions, animals can not.
