Yes it is rather funny that he would think that we American citizens who are footing the bill of approximately 80 billion a year supporting his people would care what he has to say.

Theese answer comes from mexico...
Is supposed that the decion was to be made in bilaterall agreement and it wasnt. i firmly belive that the american have the right to protect your borders i i certenly dont endorse mexican inmigration into the US.
Now what is important is that both contries, wether you like it or not depend on each other ( belive it or not the US takes loads from mexico, im talking about goods).
Besides is clearly necesary to state that the hispanics in the US are not only Mexican , but from central and south america, and most of the latin criminals are not from mexico , for example the mara which is from salvador, now just think if mexico had a different way of dealing with the central americans, you would have more of them in your country ( which you will think are from mexico) .
TO FOA
regarding the coment on FELIX ( thats the hurricanes name) , well if i do recall well the US were the ones who needed help from Mexico when Katrina stroke because your troops were deployed in iraq,

Hi, I'm from Mexico. (And living in Mexico, before anyone call me illegal)
What I think is, that the world is in constant change in politics, and maybe what you think is not important to you, can affect your future... for example, I shouldn't care if a couple of planes crash in two buildings far away from my country, however, it affected me cause when I wanted to travel to another country, not even yours, I had to wait for four hours to get into the plane, and I had to take my shoes off, and everything.
Now, this is merely selfish, but the world has issues that cannot be taken away, some day they can affect us, as the entire country. So, If you don't care about any question, just don't answer it, That you don't care, doesn't mean others don't.
Merci!!!

I couldn't care less what some guy in Mexico says.
I think that after Bush goes we need to start thinking about closing a bunch of Embasseys around the world.
All they are used for is outposts for "foreign aid" and to facilitate more immigration that we just do not need anymore.
We need a good 20 year time out on all immigration and those "refugee" and "asylum" programs that are loaded with scams.

Mexico is a strange place other countries with alot less have totally rebuilt themselves after total destruction. I mention Japan and Germany as example several others could be thought of.
Mexico having a relativly peaceful time of it, is just now maybe kinda hopefully Oozing out of the stone age.

Well lets see! Mexico is the 3rd largest oil producing country in the world!! Look it up! Of course they want us to have an open border. They can get rid of their trash and criminals. The rich are rich there and the poor .. well lets say they like a like tortilla with their dirt! Who do they think they are to ridicule us for our immigration policy when they deport more illegals than we do in a year! they put repeat crosses in a 5 year federal prison! And we are wrong for protecting out borders!? I say Mexico is a big cry baby and needs to be taught a lesson, we 100% shut our borders to them post military troops along our borders to protect it and allow no one inside without being a citizen!! Or atleast thats what Mexico does on its SOUTHERN border!! think about it!!

0K, why should this be important to us?
I'm Mexican, I live in the border, and I've been asked many times by Americans what is Mexico doing to keep Iraqis from getting into the USA.
To which I answer NOTHING.
You are right! I agree, we are nothing but neighbors, and we should not care about our neighboring country.
Just like you don't care what our president has to say, we don't have to care what yours has to say about us having to do something that only concerns YOU.

I'll be over here laughing. The last thing Calderon (wasn't that the crooks name on the Miami Vice TV show?) wants is people looking into their hard corp immigration.

His own legislature wouldn't even accept his written speech. He has much more immediate problems in Mexico than here. One is getting popular support for his government. What he said was certainly popular - there.
