Then why is there way more hatred for homosexuals than liars?
Proverbs 12,22 says that lying is an abomination also.

Both verses use the exact same adjective to describe the sins.

Is it because homosexuals are trying to get equal rights? Isn't lying, except in court, legal? Shouldn't you be consistent and try to ban lying?

Does homosexuality have more severe consequences than lying? If so, then if all sin is equal, why is one more harmful than another?

I juat posted these verses to show that liars have no advantage over those who practice any other conduct condemned by God in the Bible.

Just pay attention, it is not I who am doing any judging, it is God through his word that states what is unacceptable to him.

Lying can be harmful, but nothing like what being a homosexual can do to a person, their families, and the harm it does to children that see this from people they expect to be normal people and role models, and then they see this kind of behavior.....some never get over it.....and if you can't see the difference then you have a problem...and then every one is expected to except it with open arms like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread...and it's not...no matter how much you try to make this unnatural act OK...it's not and if people can't see how harmful this type of life style is ...then our civilization is doomed ,it's only a matter of time....before what happened in Sodom and Gomorrah is going to happen here..God's not going to tolerate it much longer...look at some of the most sin filled places on Earth...and some of the natural and unnatural catastrophe ever and they are already started in places with the most sexual perversions and sin that is out of control....Just open your eyes..take of the politically correct blinders off and see it for what it is.....I can't think of a name that really describes it.....look at HIV , and all the STD's....so many people are so messed up and this is at the top of the list of the worst...abortion is number 1....And you people can cuss me and all the evil thoughts and words you can think of....I don't hate you I love you, I just hate what you do....the Devil is having such a good time with you people because you are so easily persuaded to do evil....and think you are happy ,but are you really....who have you hurt, ...God will forgive you but then ..the damage done may never be cleaned up...never. You are correct in saying that lying and homosexuality are wrong in God's eyes. Christendom tends to pick and choose what they want to follow, but the true religion follows all of the Bible's principles. Note what these scriptures say:

In God's eyes, homosexuality is just as bad of a sin as lying. You don't hear anyone post that they are liars; most everyone agrees lying is wrong. But obviously everyone disagrees about homosexuality. This IS a Religious forum, so we're going to base our responses on God's teachings.

And *most* Christians don't hate homosexuals. Of course there are some who will show their hatred, but they are not following what Christ taught. So please don't twist the fact that we don't condone homosexuality, into hating homosexuals.

There is no hatred of homosexuals in Christianity. And yes, lying is just as much a sin. So is murder, rape, and adultery. No one is saying don't be gay. We're just pointing out that "gay marriage" can never exist. Marriage will always be between a man and a woman, otherwise it is not marriage at all. You can legalize pink unicorns too but it won't make them suddenly exist.

Christians and Muslims are very much alike in some ways...most of them not such good ways..like this one.
You can hear stories about children being killed and they won't suggest a constitutional amendment about it. But let two men who are in love suggest that they enjoy common legal attributes as opposite sex couples, and they rush to try and amend the constitution to stop it from happening.
It plainly tells you what's most important to them, and what's not.

They can justify incest,(when Adam and Eve populated the earth), BLOOD to redeem us of our sins(which is insane),eternal TORTURE for non Christians, but condemn homosexuals who were born that way, and have done nothing wrong.
