You're 10!!!! Please, how good you plan to keep your grades up should be your biggest concern right now. You should be excited to see your friends and make new ones. Seriously, if a kid wants to pick on you it will be for any reason they can make up. Just like Jace said. If someone doesn't like you because of the way you look they aren't your friend. There is no good reason why you should be concerned about losing weight. My daughter is 7 and weighs 58lbs. She doesn't have 1 over weight section on her. If you are feeling like your clothes are a little more tight than they were at the end of school. You are probably getting ready for a growth spurt. Don't worry about it.

A. Don't listen to anyone about needing to lose weight before school starts. You are ten- everyone picks on someone for any tiny reason, if not your weight then your pencil pouch logo- so it's not worth losing weight for school.

B. It's normal to feel anxious. I'm a teacher and ate way too much this summer, but just get ready for school and try to be healthy with this new school year.

C. Having more muscle will weigh more but you will look more skinny- so don't focus on the weight, focus on being healthy.

D. If you are self-conscious, you hit your period later if you are healthy. And that might sound like a bad thing, but think of this- you get to grow taller, hotter, and more bountiful- cause you give your body more time to develop- before your period starts and stunts how tall you can get.

E. If you look at all the celebrities, the older and way hot ones are in great shape- not just skinny. Like Madonna! So do as she and be in shape, not looking at your weight.

you're wayyyy to young to be loosing weightbut i know how you feel try doing somthing like running or maybe even sit ups i'm sure you don't need to loose weight tho whatever you do do it in a healthy way if you must

Yeah you do not need to be losing weight. You're to young to even think about that. Eat right, exercise, and you'll stay where you need to be.
