Hello:
I use Montreal Steak Seasoning by the McCormick company. It is sold in the spices aisle at your local Wal-Mart or local grocery stores by the other kind of seasonings or rubs.
I even use this type of steak seasoning on my homemade cheeseburgers and they always come out so nice and juicy, yummy! ;-)

A mixture of vinegar, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic and pepper. Let the steak set in that for about half an hour and she's ready for the hot coals.

I slather it with olive oil and smear it with Char Crust on both sides. It seals in the juices and gives it a flavorful crust.
