I see a lot of people in here say that they are christians or talk about God and Jesus in their posts. I am wondering how you think your Christian values should guide you in your ideas to illegals in the US?
Thank you.. :)

How about render unto Ceasar that which is Ceasar's, thou shallt not steal, and thou shallt not covet that which is thy neighbor's?
Charity implies a gift, and we do that. Without willingness from the giver taking that which does not belong to you is not charity.
Jesus would be able to multiply our fishes and loaves, and schools and services. But watching others steal education to the point where our own children's education fails and doing nothing is being unChristian to our own most vulnerable.

The 10 Commandments are from the Old Testament. The New Testament chronicles the life and teachings of Jesus. Jesus came and "simplified" the rules for his followers. He broke them down into 2:
Worship my Father as no other. Put none Before him
Love your neighbor as yourself.
Within the 2 above all Father's commandments fall.
I continually try to be compassionate, and, to look for opportunities to help people. I aspire to simplicity, and, strive not for material gain. I will gladly give up $ or security in order to help those less fortunate. I don't really need a newer car, if that money could be better spent on food for the hungry.... (OK- I am part hippie, too!) LOL

Who should care about values in thing like this . You can not justify some ones action on there religious values . And if you do have this need to free them from there homemade hell , why not stand with them and reclaim the holy land . p.s. I am a catholic so does that mean if I where to go off to war and kill some one , I would be sent to hell . I think not !!

I see what you're talking about. There's a few people who sound like hypocrites. They seem to have stopped reading the bible halfway in between, or perhaps they only skimmed it.
If they had done some missionary work and seen just how bad other people have it, maybe they would realize what some illegals are willing to break laws to flee.
Here's a few examples of what hey might see:

-children and buzzards searching for scraps in a landfill

-website about poverty, includes statistics and pics.

You should ask Illegal Aliens who are Christians if they have a conflict with breaking a foreign country's laws by sneaking into it.
As a *former Christian* I have no problems with Christians' values and enforcing our immigration laws.
They need to start all that "help your neighbor" stuff in Mexico and other countries.
Nowhere in the bible does it say, "try to turn YOUR problems into the problems of a foreign country."
When I say my prayers at night or in the morning to "God" not to Jesus, Muhamed or anyone else I thank him for all my blessings.
Then I say to Jesus; "Jesus, protect me from your followers."
I left the Catholic Church recently because they favor illegal aliens.
I wonder what the illegal aliens would do if the Catholic Church told them to obey the law and go back to their own countries?

Christians who criticize other Christians for complaining about illegal “immigration” typically cite the “love those who are aliens” verses in the Bible as some sort of proof that we shouldn’t complain about illegal aliens, but those verses are instructing Christians not to be prejudiced against foreigners simply because they’re foreigners. They’re not instructing us to turn a blind eye to foreigners breaking the law.

I love them as human beings and as brothers in Christ, but I have absolutely no tolerance for their breaking the law. There was a point at which Jesus said "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and render unto God the things that are God's."
I think they should be sent home and then, if they wish, come back and apply for citizenship correctly.

I don't think a lot of Christian values are prolific in the Immigration category.
Leviticus 19:32-37
33 " 'When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. 34 The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
