As others have said you need to talk about it, first go to your doctor if you are ok with that and he or her will give you advice at where to go and they might prescribe you some medication, it does not mean that you will be on it forever just till you are feeling stable enough to cope and have the confidence to make the best of life for you and your little one. It is hard if you are going through depression and you feel like no one will understand and you have the well being of your child to think about.....even if it is just for your child get help because being at such a tender age, to grow up with bad memories of your childhood can lead to their own depression in years to come ! One person also mention exercise as a way to overcome depression, yes that is true ! It is well known that exercise can increase endorphins to give the feeling of well-being. Go for walks with your child at least half and hour at least 4x a week, after awhile you will find that you will both be looking forward to your walks, if you have any family members see if once every so often they will look after your child so you can have some time for you, Anyway there a few good suggestions I hope you find one to help :-)

Sounds a lot like depression. My first suggestion is take some vitamin B suppliments. They are wonderful, often depression is aggrevated by lacking in B vitamins. It is also about reperessing things, so talk, talk, talk. If not to a friend or famliy member, to a councillor, or even a stranger that understands the pressures of having a child. Feel free to e-mail me, I have 2 children and have felt exactly the way you do before. Other suggestion is see a kinesiolgist, they also helped me enormously. Please don't live like this, believe me, you can be happy with the right help, I am now

If you think you might need help - TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR. There is help out there, but you have to ask for it. Depression is an illness, which can get worse if untreated.
If you google "Depression Quizes" on the net there will be sites which will give you a list of questions which relate to depression, and some will rate you as to whether you need help straight away. You can print off the results and show your doctor, to give him/her a guide as to what your going through.

Family Doctor's Experience:
There must be something on your mind every minute, i assume. If not, just visit you family doctor and if there is a need, antidepressants will be prescribed. Try this, exercise for 30 minutes, several times a week, because research has shown that exercise reduces stress and boosts your self-esteem. In general, it makes you feel better.

I felt like that and sought a doctor,
I was kind of against the idea of anti-depressants,
but they've really helped.
You may even want to try counseling if you feel that's right for you.
