There is scripture (i think in corinthians) that says something to the effect of (not exact quote): Husbands, cling to your wife and her family after marriage. Hope that helps- I'm definetly using that to my advantage! Lol

Leave and cleave; baby, leave and cleave. Not just him but you too. No running home to momma. You have each other and have now become a family. You should each be the others priority. Not momma and daddy.

I don't think it does but you can't go wrong with the famous saying, "A son is your son until he takes a wife but your daughter is your daughter for the rest of her life." If more mom's would listen to that then there would be a million daughters-in-law out there like myself, with a much happier marriage.
