Do you make it out to clerk of court or to the officers name ?

Well in south carolina they give you a ticket and a fine and you can pay the fine with out going to court . So i just want to mail it in so i dont have to sit in a court house all day it aint but 79 bucks and the ticket dont say who to make it out to so i dont know do i put clerk of court or the clerks real name?

ect.

Bill is correct make it out to the Clerk of the court for the county you received the ticket in never to them personally

Clerk of Courts if the ticket does not specify another name. It should be on the ticket "Make checks payable to....."

Usually it is written out to the court. First you have to send in your guilty plea and they will send you a letter that tells you how to pay.

never in the officers name! read the ticket it will tell you
