Wow, that is a cool question. I find that, at least in my church, we have a combination of both types of Christians. Some are the Sunday morning Christians, who, as long as they are not mad at the pastor, show up on Sundays to worship. You would be hard pressed to prove their Christianity any other day. Of course, Christ calls us to live our lives as the church seven days a week. Have you ever heard the song "The Body", by Casting Crowns? It says this-- "If we are the body, why aren't his arms reaching, why aren't his hands healing, why aren't his words teaching. If we are the body, why aren't his feet going, why is his love not showing them there is a way?" We had better have the church in us, and we should be loving, reaching, caring for, and winning our world. Let's do what we are called to do, let's purpose to be lights to the world.

As a Christian, I am part of the church. And since Jesus is the head of the church, and He is in me, I think that it has to be both.

Hi, Jay; great question! Christians are the church. It is a body of believers who come together in Jesus name to worship and lift him upon high. These buildings that are being built by man are only buildings and those that meet there gather together to have a routine meeting; whether it be to sing a few songs, bring forth words from God or just bring forth words and fellowship with those they prefer to fellowship with. My friend or family member no more.... Sorry; I could preach on this for quite some time.

The church is a body of Christians. Christian means little Christs. We have been saved, born again, going to heaven when we die. There is no other way to get to heaven than thru Jesus Christ. That is what the HOLY BIBLE says. I believe in the Bible, If you would like to be saved and go to heaven it is so simple, just Pray this Prayer, Dear Jesus, I confess to you that I am a sinner in need of a Saviour. I believe that you came to earth and died on a cross as a perfect sacrifice my sins and then rose from the grave the third day. I ask you to come into my heart and save me and make me a child of God, In Jesus name I Pray, Amen...If you will Pray this Prayer with a sincere heart you will be born again!!!! May God Bless YOU!!

I think SO MUCH on this subject, it makes me question how much faith I have, which CHRIST said I should NOT do. Church, is ONE thing, in that it is GOOD for Christians to gather in asembly as one body to Worship. THIS is Church. Christ is made manifest through OTHERS, and where 2 or more are gathered in His Name, there He is ALSO.

Hi Jay. How are you today? Nice thought. There are many people who physically attend church, but the message of Christ has not been sealed in their heart.

Christ in you is the message of the Church.

May we grow in his grace.
