why is it that when some1 asks a q. about their religion trying to figure something out --not asking an evolutionists opinion on whether God exists-- evolutionists insist on spamming them w/ barking @ them that He doesnt exist --when the person DIDNT ask for their opinion on that in the FIRST place??? if they cant answer a question reasonably then they should just "keep walkin" till they find something they can answer appropriately.

another q. about them; why is it that @ this site, i dont see creationists calling them really bad names--actually i dont see them name-calling evolutionists @ all--but i see plenty of name-calling by evolutionists, like; "brainwashed"/stupid, etc. (actually i dont remember the last time i saw "stupid being used, but i see "brainwashed" quite a bit)

why do creationists seem so much more friendly than evolutionists??--not just here iether, public school kids seem to be less friendly than Church school kids. alot more judgemental. @ my old school.....

Perhaps because as Christians, we try to follow the example that Jesus taught us -- to love our neighbors as ourselves. We are actually here to try and help other people who have questions about our/their beliefs. Plus Jesus knew there would be people who would mock us, so ironically, they actually prove His words to be true.

Matthew 5:10-11 -- 10 Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.

*Some* non-believers just enjoy the petty name-calling and belittling. Maybe it helps them feel superior or something; I don't really understand it. Just seems pretty sad and pathetic to me. Fortunately not all Atheists are like that. There are some very friendly and respectful people who we just happen to disagree with, but we can still have nice discussions with.

No one likes your retarded @'s. You must be some stuck up 16 year old valley girl with a pink sports car and "tons of friends" if you actually use @ every time to replace at. As for your question, what goes around comes around. Who started the hate first? Who knows, but the fact is, a lot of Christians and atheists post rude remarks. Especially if the question is retarded like this one.

EDIT: Hey Dreamdress2, you think you know the score? looks like your answer has 0 thumbs up and 4 thumbs down to me, and that's the real score.

EDIT: Make that five thumbs down :) Have a nice, ignorant day.

ok, you began off with a valid question then in basic terms began quoting bible words which capacity definitely no longer something to atheists by any capacity, so whats the element in asking? you're of course no longer finding for a genuine answer and in basic terms had to evangelise. So.. for the suggestions lifeless... what's Atheism approximately? loss of concept in a faith. the place else could it circulate? And.. for the doubly suggestions lifeless... Atheists are here to preserve our precise to no longer be careworn by using the non secular who think of its okay to circulate around quoting the bible, harassing the rest individuals who do no longer have faith what they do, and attempting to get their faith legislated into regulation. this is an theory... get you and your friends to butt out of different peoples lives, and you will no longer pay attention from us anymore. by the form, you're no longer the 1st person to ask this question. It gets asked a dozen situations an afternoon. So how approximately utilising your curiously broken arms to fully use the hunt function, or maybe shockingly examine the little issues that pop up once you're typing the question?

I am sorry you feel that way. In my experience it goes both ways. The less that one knows about an opposing view, the more likely they are to feel threatened when someone questions theirs, and the more likely they are to retaliate with harsh words or actions. I have no issue with anyone expressing their views as long as they have actually researched the issue and can make an intelligent argument to support their beliefs. What I can't, and won't abide is people using poor reasoning, bad science, misquotes, and hateful language.

when you think you know the world yet lack the facts, you tend to stand in a dark room and throw stones.

welcome to yahoo answers :)

its sad, it use to be a good place at the git go. then it has been taken over by these troll mongers who actually think its comical to do what they do.

all they do is waste their time in life by creating account after account and we waste our time reporting them. so who wins? no one, we are left in the same spot we were last week.

now many get on the web and feel this rush of being able to do and say as they please. they think they are hidden from the world and get away with doing anything. they just don't realize how easy it is to actually track someone. I'm an ex web designer, I can find a yahoo person in about 7 minutes if I want too. Even call them direct. So that illusion of you are private, in hiding, is long over. Heck look at Cali and that 14 yr old who posted a " i want to kill bush " picture on her myspace. Within 4 hours the FBI were at her door asking questions. Not seen, thats comical.

Kids today are not what kids use to be. Since they grew up in a household normally of 2 parents working, they actually felt no love and have no clue how to show love or compassion. As that is clearly evident on here and the entire web.

Everyone wants revenge today, for something. Someone did something to them so they must do something to someone else to feel better. What logic is that? Logic of a person that belongs in a white room thats what.

I use to be a non believer, believed in evolution, etc, etc. Fully versed on it all. But I never went around and did things like they do today. Heck, I never went around "christian" people when I believed the other way. Why would I waste my life being around what I don't like? So that boggles me on why they are here to begin with.

Then my psychology degree just reminds me of why they are here. They don't believe the very words that come out of their mouths. So they must bash, put down, bring down others to their lack of knowledge or confusion to "seem" like they are part of a bigger group, a whole.

Be a lot easier just to sit, talk, and learn and then they could be part of any larger group they wanted. And it would be much more pleasant than the journey they are currently on. But that goes back to that lack of love growing up. Since they only know the one path and can't realize what the other path is even like, they remain on the one path, never checking to see if the grass is actually greener on the other side.

Sad what humanity has become. I've watched it decline at a rapid pace since around 1983. Every year it speeds up for the worse.

Logically, could the same thing not be said about the Creationists from the Evolutionist side of the house? There are always two sides to the coin. Why does everyone have to be so closed minded?

There is a lot of ignorance at this site. Is it really that hard to spell at? The behavior is childish. There are children on this site. I think maybe they feel like a minority, when the majority believe in God/s and there are a minority who do not believe at all they feel pressured and have others beliefs forced upon them. Atheists are the most discriminated against. Evolution is a theory, someone said hay I think this is what's going on, we are evolving and no proof. Mutations don't count, usually they are from something toxic like radiation or genetic engineering.

I'm not going to dignify your ramble with a long response.

Ignorant means lacking knowledge. You can't close the question to a specific group on YA. Someone's tone of voice does not influence the validity of a scientific theory.

Creationists friendly? Know this and try to understand it if you can:

The so-called religious organizations which now lead the war against the teaching of evolution are nothing more, at bottom, than conspiracies of the inferior man against his betters.

@ does not mean at, so why are you so ignorant at this site?

If creationists are called idiots, it's because they are.

If evolutionists are treated with respect and admiration, it's because they deserve it for their intelligent perspectives.

Church kids are more friendly because retarded kids are always more friendly. I don't know why the retarded are friendly, but it is just a fact.

The Church ones are the more judgemental in my experience, always saying critical things about persons of other Christian denominations.
