Well, I believe the most common cancer today is skin cancer, and that's most likely from people being in the sun without thinking about using sunblock to protect against UV rays. There's probably no part of the body that is naturally easier to get cancer in. It all depends on genes, life style, and environment.

My guess is the cells which divide most frequently are more suspectible to cancer. The rationale is every division is an opportunity for mutations to occur and get propagated to the next generation. That is why alcohol is carcinogen but not a mutagen. That is also why colon cancer is so common.

However, other factors are also involved. Lung and skin cancer are common because of its constant exposure to carcinogens.

Here in Australia, the most common is skin cancer (non-melanoma), followed by prostate, colorectal, breast, melanoma and lung.

Why?? Obviously our UV exposure influences the first.

Check this site for details.
