Id really like the to stop, what would I do, or will it go away on its own?

When the braces are on, it makes it more difficult to clean the teeth and gums thoroughly. Flossing is essential at anytime, but more so when you have braces. If you didn't floss regularly during the time you had braces, your gums could have become irritated, and inflammed, and they will bleed. I suggest having a cleaning done at your general dentist's office... This will help get out any irritants that can cause the gums to be sore. After the cleaning, brush as you normally would, and don't forget to floss. (once a day). In the beginning, you will probably notice some bleeding, but that should subside in a week or so as the gums heal and 'toughen up'. You can also try rinsing out with some warm salt water and/or plain old Listerine. The salt water will help with soreness and promote healing, and the Listerine will help kill any bacteria in the mouth.
Good luck, and know that this is a reversible problem as long as it's addressed soon.

My braces came off about a month ago and my gums did the same thing. Try using a soft brissel brush tooth brush, after about a week or two they started to bleed and hurt less.

My daughter had her braces removed almost a year ago and she had similar problems. I watched her getting them removed and saw the technician using a pick to remove the glue that held the pads to the teeth. That might be what's wrong with your teeth. Your gums are irritated and it should go away by itself.

It's just because your gums aren't really used to the brush brushing them. when you had the braces on they were sort of blocking them so they didn't get brushed as hard. It will go away as soon as your gums toughen up which will be in a few days.

Try applying pressure to it with cotton balls or something. I don't know why it would be bleeding for 2 hours though. Try not wearing your retainer too until it stops. When I got mine removed they didn't bleed at all. If it doesn't stop call your ortho.

Your teeth is still sensitive since the removal of your braces. Try gargling salt water solution and keep brushing your teeth gently, they will eventually grow stronger. If not, try consulting your dentist about it.
