What else would he have been. He was either a Jew or not real. I pick option two.

Because
1. Others recognized Him as a Jew.
John 4:9 The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)
2.He taught in the Temple. Matthew 21:13 "It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'"
14 The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.
3. He was circumcised in the Temple. Luke 2:27 Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required.

According to the scriptures God was the father of the Jews and since He is also Jesus' father what else could Jesus be? He was circumcised on the eighth day after birth (a bris) and when he was 12 he was bar mitzvahed in the temple at Jerusalem. This was when he was found by Mary and Joseph debating with the Jewish leaders. He was charged with blasphemy by these leaders before He was sent to Calvary. Only a Jew could be charged with blaspheming a Jewish God.

Lets see now.
He was born of a Jewish girl, in Israel.
He was raised a Jew and followed the Old Testament to the letter.
He taught in the synagogue.
He wore a prayer Shawl
Gee I don't know why we would know that He was a Jew..

The Bible gives jesus's geneology from King David of the old Testament, unless you don't believe the Bible then Jesus was actually an 800 pound guy from Madagascar with bad breath and a knack for sideshow tricks.

Historically, if you believe he lived where he lived and in the time he lived in, it is doubtful he would have been anything but a Jew. If you belief the Christian Bible then it states he was Jewish (I think but I have never read the Christian Bible).

The Bible states clearly that He descended from King David and from Judah. Jesus is sometimes called "the Lion of the tribe of Judah."
BTW "Jew" comes from "Judah"

What do you mean?! Um, the BIBLE. He was born a descendant of King David who was a Jew, so that kinda makes him a Jew.

Hey, don't get ahead of yourself - we don't even have a clue if 'he' lived or not.
Don't forget, it's only the back end of an old book that was compiled by a committee in the late 300s that says 'he' existed at all.
Regardless; who cares?

The Bible and also some outside of the Bible sources. We do not actually need the Bible to prove the historical figure of Jesus existed.
