Need airlines for flight fro SFO to Relight N.C. (RDU)?

This is my frist flight to see my GRANDS. But I need a cheap one. UNITED only has milage plus, of which I have none. I need a place to start my search. Someone told me to go thur Las Vegas and connect to a flight going to Raligh. Also said that CHI could get layed up with the weather I am planing for NOV 20, 2007 and returing JAN 4 OR 5, 2008. Any one have alternet routes to suggest? Any feed back will help. I am so lost and confuesed over this ****. I DON'T FLY WELL anyway. but four (4) V's and my buddy Jack alway assist me in flying. So see what u all can come up with, Please. I'll be gone till Monday so don't think I am ignoring u'r answers. Hope everyone had a good wkend?

I know that many airlines fly into RDU. What you were probably told was to take Southwest through Las Vegas. They do have many cheap fares. The only way that I know of to purchase tickets on them is to go to their website.

Other airlines that fly there off the top of my head are Delta, American, United, Continental, Northwest, and US Air.

I work for United and you don't have to be a mileage plus member to purchase a ticket. I fly into RDU (Raleigh/Durham) a few times a week so know we fly there. Go to United.com and you can enter the origin/destination and travel dates to find out how much it will cost. I think jetBlue also flies into RDU. Good luck.
