Use a really good quality shampoo AND CONDITIONER from a Salon, not Wal-Mart, if you do I suggest Pantene Pro-V, I have used almost every shampoo offered at Wal-Mart at one point or another and I can tell you Pantene is the only one that actually improved my hair and did not leave it dry, coarse and easy to break.
They make vitamins especially for hair and nails, so you don't have to take the pre-natal, which has all kinds of extra vitamins that you may or may not need.
Limit the use of heat tools such as blow dryers, curling irons, flat irons, hot rollers et cetera. The less you use them the better and when you do use them, especially when you use a flat iron, use a protective spray or serum to help guard against heat damage.
Make sure to get regular trims to cut off dead ends to encourage new growth.
Do not use a brush when your hair is wet, use a wide tooth comb and gently work out tangles. Hair is easier to break when wet and using a brush when it is in this vulnerable state can lead to nasty looking fly aways (those little hairs on the top of alot of people heads that have broke and now stick out, seperated from the rest of their hair.....gross!)
Using harsh chemicals when coloring, perming, stripping et cetera will leave your hair damaged!! Please for the sake of your hair if you do decide to have a style that requires a chemical treatment, please go to a reputable Salon with a reputable hair stylist. They have gone to school and if they are reputable know what they are doing and your hair will more than likely be less damaged in the end.
Use hair accessories that do not snag or tangle in your hair easily.....not only is this painful but is very damaging to your hair and will result in alot of breakage.
Eat a healthy varied diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables and lean protein......all vegetables, fruits (some more than others), grains, legumes, nuts, milk, cheese, and certain meats contain amino acids. Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein. Protein is the building block of hair and nails. So this is very important.
Do all of this and your hair is sure to grow.
Please Note** Miss. Cyrus's hair has been done by a stylist in these photos and I'm sure she has her own stylist that does her hair when she stars in her popular show Hannah Montana....I highly doubt she just wakes up with gorgeous red carpet quality hair. I do not know if this is her natural length of hair, could be or it could be hair extensions. Any who I am sure she does more for her hair than take a hair and nail vitamin (in fact she may not take a vitamin at all, if her diet is healthy enough she shouldn't need one) plus she spends mucho time and money on her hair because she is a star. Not only does she have the money to do this, but great hair usually comes with territory when you are a star. Just keep these things in mind, when comparing to your own hair.

I think it would be safer for you just to be patient. You can never trust a "pill", or any thing like that just to make your hair grow longer. I know it can be frusturatin that your hair feels like its not growing, but it is. My hair takes FOREVER to grow.
Heres a few natural tips:
~Since your hair is made of protien, if your diet dosn't have enough protien your hair will grow slowly. Eat foods like fish, eggs, beans, and yogurt.
~Excessive stress and some medications may cause hair growing problems. Consider meditation or relaxation to reduce stress as much as possible.
~Sleep. Your hair grows mostly when you sleep, so you will want to get a good nights sleep as much as you can. (7 to 9 hours is suggested.)
~In addition to making lifestyle changes, taking the following supplements every day can boost hair growth for many people:
-Vitamin B-complex - 50 mg. of the major B-vitamins(including folate, biotin and inositol)
-Vitamin B-6 - 50 mg. of vitamin B-6
-Vitamin C with bioflavonoids - one to two grams daily
-Vitamin E - 400 to 800 IU daily
-Beta-Carotene - 10,000 to 15,000 IU of beta-carotene daily
-One recommended daily dose of magnesium, sulfur, zinc
-Silica (horsetail) - 300 mg. daily
-Nettle - 250 mg. three times daily
-Flaxseed oil - one tbsp daily or one tablet
-Beta-Carotene - 10,000 to 15,000 IU of beta-carotene daily
~Some additional tips are:
-Eliminate or cut back on smoking, caffeine and carbonated sodas which weaken the body and block maximum hair growing potential.
-Eat a healthy diet. Avoid foods that are high in sugar or fat.
-Treat your hair like a piece of fine old lace. Treat it carefully avoiding any unnecessary brushing, combing or handling.
-Avoid use of hot water, hot blow dryers or other hair care tools that may stress the hair.
-Have a weekly scalp massage to provide stimulation to the hair follicles.
-Do a series of ongoing hot oil treatments to protect the hair's shaft.
-Have regular trims to eliminate split ends and allow the hair to look and feel healthier.
Get plenty of rest and sleep to allow your body to grow hair.
~If you need to make your hair long right away, you could consider getting hair extentions.
~The main key is patience. You can't rush life right? Don't fall for any pills or hair care products that say they make your hair grow faster. For all we know it make make you hair fall out, and there may be bad side effects.

She has extensions, but you just have to wait for it to grow. Nothing makes your hair grow faster, not even prenatal vitamins.
