He told me to report each and every Yahoo! Answers user who doesn't believe in God, and also those Christians who aren't of the "True Christian" variety. Then he spent half an hour talking about how petty insults on R&S are actually the persecution Jesus was talking about.

No, my Pastor talked about surrendering all areas of your life to the lordship of Jesus and about how a lot of God's promises to give us the desires of our heart are conditional promises where our desires have to match up with wanting to advance God's Kingdom here on earth.
