In the summertime i get these really weird white circles on the back of my back near my neck and my chest. My doctor told me it might be fungus but i got cream for it and it wont go away. Anybody have any suggestions?

It could be caused by a species of tinea. If this is the case, you will probably need to take an oral medication to get rid of it instead of a cream. You should see a dermatologist next time because they are the skin experts.

If it is a fungus it is really hard to get rid of. you will have to put that cream on religiously every single day for about a year. keeping the areas dry and cool will help.

but... it could just be a heat rash...
Aloe and apple cidar vinegar rubs might also help you...

It's called vitiligo and it probably is indeed fungal. Go back to your Dr. and ask for pills this time, (they will have to do bloodwork and the regimin is a long one), and if that does not do the trick, a small biopsy might be in order.

It is possible you just have hypopigmented spots, but that seems unlikely.

Good Luck!

i have the same thing ... its called tinea versi-color ... soak ur body with selson blue for around 30 min. a day and apply lamisil twice a day morning and night this should take it away in like 2 weeks but if u have tinea ...it will come back in like 6 months
