I'm just curious. Because most seem to hate taking that next step from dating to exclusive...? Is it just me or has anyone else experienced this problem?
And if you're a guy.. what does it take for you to want to commit to a relationship? And how soon would you ask a girl to be girlfriend after dating?

Sadly, guys that have their pick of the ladies are the ones that have a hard time committing because they like having the sexual variety and attention. Nice average guys like me are ready to jump into the relationship and treat a lady right because we're lucky to have someone truly love us for who we are and not what we look like.

When the right girl comes along, a guy will totally want to experience a relationship. It will be the reason he wakes up every morning and his last thought at night. Commitment can become an issue, but all relationships have there problems, solving them will only make those relationships stronger.
It takes quite a lot of guts for me to actually aproach a girl, but I guess it's different for everyone. =] Good Luck

I don't get it. Guys who are willing to go into relationships are all single and the only ones girls take are the ones that just want sex.
I'd date exclusively from the beginning because dating takes too much energy and time. I like being friends first. Ya, I'll go back to 1254 A.D. when my kind was last seen

It takes us from fun to ownership, and that can be much more complicated and controlling. Its better for us in the long run, but can seem a great restriction on our emotions on the short term. Most guys fall into lust easily, and it takes a long time to turn into love.

No, I don't like relationships. I like doing what I want, where I want, with whom I want, and when I want. Relationships are work, I will never deny that. As I go from relationship to relationship, I find myself a lot happier when I'm not in one.

actually alot of guys like relationships more than dating.
usually its the girls lately that want to go to he next step.
but it takes about 2 weeks be4 a guy commits

well sometimes it is hard for us guy to commit to something serious. face it guys are screw ups and most have trouble with commitment because of the level of fun and dating to the ownership level. its just hard but we will evetually allow it.
