i saw the still and it was a big radiator, like out of a truck on it.
i bought some , dirt cheap. we are going to drink it tomorrow.

First of all, moonshine is illegal, and you probably shouldn't be drinking it anyway, but that aside it can be very scary. You should not drink the moonshine if you did not make it yourself.
This pervasive question of "Will you go blind" is due to moonshine lore, which abounds with myths of blindness, but few actual documented cases. The concern is due to the presence of methanol (wood alcohol), an optic nerve poison, which can be present in small amounts when fermenting grains or fruits high in pectin. This methanol comes off first from the still, so it is easily segregated and discarded, and easily observed via changes in the vapour temperature.
The cases where you do hear about people poisoned by "illict spirits" have been the terrible situations where adulterants such as methanol, antifreeze, battery acid etc have been added to the spirits afterwards by unscrupulous sellers. The other problems have been lead poisoning when people have used lead-based products (ie lead solder) when constructing their still, instead of something more appropriate for food-grade vessels. The rules should infact be "dont buy spirits from an unknown supplier".

Mix it with some lemonade to cut down on the bite.Good stuff! I actually am a fan of moonshine,but I honestly can say I've never seen a still.

Sure, it's OK for you to drink it. Just don't try serving any of it to me.
I'm kind of partial to being alive.
Think of it this way - would you drink water that came out of that still? If not, then why would you consider drinking the moonshine that came out of it? If so, then go ahead with your bad self.

Yeah! Why not? Moonshine is always good, especially if it is cheap, and put through a truck radiator....Yummmy. You don't need your eyesight do you?

As long as all of the anti freeze had been taken out of iut and it was completely flushed. Be careful that stuff really will make you go blind!

radiator is a good filtering system and is used allot in make shift stills. I say its fine to drink.
the alcohol content is so high it will take rust off a old car and then some! WOW I can imagine the hangovers from that stuff!
