I want a tattoo on my shoulder or on my lower back. I want an eyebrow piercing, 3 ear piercings (2 normal and one cartilage on one ear), and a belly button piercing. Is that trashy?

It's not the piercings or the tattoos that make a person trashy.
If you act trashy you are trashy, if you don't you aren't.
It's as simple as that.

I have to agree that it's not the amount of piercings or tattoos that a person has that makes them trashy but rather the way they present themselves to the world. Do whatever you wish to do as long as you still feel good about the way you look that's all that really matters. But as someone else said you should probably do it in steps, get one thing done at a time and make sure you still want to get more done. Also make sure to get the tattoos ones that mean something to you and that you know you will want forever.Express yourself.

Olivia started off right with a very good answer and some others were similar. Here is an example. You may or may not have thought Kat Von D looked trashy while on Miami Ink with all her tats. I didn't think so. I thought she looked great.
Now on her own show, she often wears way too much makeup making her look harsh, her wardrobe has changed dramatically - maybe it is because of her weight loss she feels she can reveal more, who knows but now I think she looks trashy sometimes. In fact, in one episode she jokingly made a comment that it "costs a lot of money to look this cheap." She should take that to heart.
Anyway, the tattoos didn't influence it at all. There are many contributing factors to "trashy or not trashy."

I don't think anything looks trashy unless you make it. I have 10 holes in my ears, my belly button pierced, and three tattoos, between shoulder blades, toe, and hip area. You can see all mine if I wear certain clothes or sandals. So as long as you act like you have class people will not see you as trashy. I have seen tons of people who have many more piercings and tattoos than I do and still look nice and respectable.

No thats not trashy at all. I have 7 piercings and no tattoos. I'm also thinking of getting a tattoo.

Having tattoos and piercings do not make you trashy. Its is all about how your present yourself. I have 3 tattoos and anyone who knows me or even talks to me know that I'm not trashy, and as for the people that don't know me and think they, they don't matter anyway. I know I'm not and that's all that matters. And don't listen when people say that you'll look gross when you get old because your tattoos will be all wrinkly, because the way I see it is when I am older I shouldn't be wearing clothes that show off my tattoos anyway and if I am then shame on me. Also chances are if my tattoos are wrinkly then the rest of my body is probably wrinkly too which isn't too hot to begin with. Do what makes you happy and makes you feel good, not what other people tell you to do.

eyebrow piercing is considered for people who are off beat belly button piercings are average as is earlobe piercings tattos are common sightings these days trashy is a state of mind but you can ask yourself how you feel with all of these on you and what type of people you want to attract..look at angelina jolie she has lots of tats they cover them when she does a flick there's a reason they do this.. this is a value system personally i think it's peoples attempt to be individual and not like others but the fashion is that most young folks have piercings and tats.

Because thats how "society" see's it. People judge people by there cover and not by whats inside. Someone without tattoos or piercings would be seen as someone who takes care of themself, with class, or is just more acceptable to "societies" Image of how a person should look or dress. IMO someone with piercings must take care of themselves or else it would allways have infections. LoL-

you're still ok, i think. I met a girl yesterday with 27 piercings, who didn't look trashy at all. It depends on the exact placement.

No, that's not trashy. I would consider huge visible tattoos to be trashy-looking, and like 10 ear piercings.
